Joel Gesch, Lutheran West Athletic Director states," We are pleased that Anjanette will be joining our coaching staff as Head Track Coach. I have been impressed by her passion to work with young people as a coach and mentor, and I believe her presence here will be a blessing to our student-athletes on many levels. One of the biggest high school running events in the Midwest is getting a big name visitor this Saturday, when reigning American champion and Olympic 4th-place finisher Duane Solomon visits the St. Xavier Invitational presented by Saucony and Fleet Feet Sports. At one of the premier scholastic running events in southwest Ohio, the Saucony-sponsored athlete will connect with the future of the sport, signing autographs and presenting the awards to the day's top competitors.

College track and field coaches will be allowed to speak and network with athletes, high school coaches and parents as well as distribute information about their track and field program. The event is free for college coaches to attend.
